First I think it is important to know who I am. My name is Savannah. I am currently a freshman in college, double majoring in History and Sociology. In my spare time I love going bike riding, spending time with my beautiful nieces and nephews, cuddling my puppies and of course crocheting. In the summers and during winter break I have two jobs. I work at the local casino as a restaurant host and I help my grandma run our family business.
When I was sixteen my grandma made me a crocheted blanket. It was just a simple, pink, granny square blanket but I loved it. It was one of the first things I packed as I was getting ready for college and I bring it with every time Im not sleeping in my own bed. Its as if it was my baby blanket.
After I got it my mom told me she knew how to crochet and since it seemed like I really liked it, she would teach me some tricks. She only taught me the simple stuff like chaining, single stitch and double stitch. After that I started going on sites like Pinterest and Youtube, and searching for free patterns on Yahoo search engines.
Now that I have been practicing and finding the things I like to make I thought " Hey I should make a blog like all these people do" So I did. I have been thinking a lot on what I want this blog to be about. For some posts that I make will be patterns that I come up with. Others will be patterns I find online. For those post I will be saying what I think about the post what I would change yet still posting what the pattern is. To avoid copyright stuff I will include the link of where I got them.
